This moscato wine is a sugary, lively sparkling wine along with acid and sprit which can be very invigorating. The overall taste and aroma of Villa Alena NV Moscato Rose Dolce is sweet with a slight tinge. It is considered as a sparkling wine and will go well with roasted lamb, roasted beef and other types of meat as well. It comes from the Piedmont wine area. However, during poor season the output is considered to be less while on the other hand, the output is good during good harvesting season. It differs from Bartenura Moscato 2009 as it has low acidic content. Moreover, it has a pungent and sparkling flavour which can be extremely invigorating. The wine is not kept in oaks for extensive duration of time for aging as well. However, if the need arises, Villa Alena NV Moscato Rose Dolce can be stored in large wooden oaks for adequate aging.
